Our - real - environmental commitments

Plastic sucks...

TPOP, the best ecological and ethical Print on Demand for creating your own personalised organic products.

As you know, plastic is a nuisance.

Plastic is everywhere, it's a real problem for our planet (and for us, by the way).

It really pisses us off.

Plastic-free shipping

As a result, we have decided to ship all available products in print on demand without plastic: the products are packaged in nice top quality recyclable cardboard sleeves or, depending on the size of the product, in soft sleeves made of recycled material.

This is a subject that was close to our hearts, and we are quite proud to be forerunners in this field. Let's face it: it's not the easy solution, since this choice is ultimately more expensive, but our convictions would not have let us do otherwise.

Even the paper used to print your slips is environmentally friendly: from a short circuit based in France, it benefits from the FSC and PEFC labels guaranteeing its origin from sustainably managed forests. An initiative that has been praised by the WWF - great, isn't it?

The same applies to the adhesive, as it is made of Kraft paper and not ugly plastic.

Yes, yes.
At TPOP, we don't do things by halves.

Products that are as 'clean' as possible

Curiously, organic products are also of excellent quality.

We try to offer as many "clean" products as possible, both in terms of their manufacture and the conditions under which they were produced. Thirty-three of our products have at least one eco-responsible label: this represents the overwhelming majority of our catalogue! This is simply because we refuse to negotiate our eco-responsibility criteria when we have the choice.

In our catalogue we offer products made of two different types of ecological textiles:

  • 100% organic cotton: Cotton is a resource-hungry material (especially water (2,700 litres of water are needed for one T-shirt, from the irrigation phase to production!) and its cultivation often involves the use of substances that are harmful to health (pesticides, insecticides and other chemicals that are frankly not very nice). This is where its SUPER alternative comes in, organic cotton! Organic cotton is a healthy crop that requires much more reasonable water consumption (on average only 40 litres for a T-shirt). It is a wise choice if you want to combine quality and skin-friendliness without feeling guilty. Our catalogue includes a whole range of them. We say that, we say nothing.
  • Recycled textiles: In the midst of the whirlwind of unbridled consumption that is the textile industry today, recycled cotton and polyester are - ironically - a breath of fresh air. The principle? Conceive of textile consumption as a circular process, by re-using fibres from clothing offcuts (in the case of recycled cotton) or by transforming non-renewable materials such as plastic bottles into (recycled polyester).

Two different cases, same battle: products that are designed to be healthy, resource-efficient and have a minimal impact on the planet. And to top it all off, all these products are of excellent quality. They're not just okay, they're really great. All the conditions are in place to make them strong and durable pieces that will stand the test of time with your customers.

Eco-responsible print on demand.

Environmentally friendly inks

Our inks take care of your skin, but also of the environment.

Your wonderful visuals are printed on the textile using water-based inks, 100% eco-certified by OEKO-TEX® ECO PASSPORT and by the very serious GOTS 5.0 label, and are VEGAN.

In short, it is the best of the best.

At TPOP we are willing to laugh at many things, but not atSustainability.

Print-on-demand: a business model that's as good for your bank account as it is for the planet

Let's face it: print-on-demand is a mechanism that is environmentally friendly. It is a direct challenge to the mass production method that has characterised the retail sector, and more specifically the fashion sector, until now.

Thanks to Print on Demand, there is no longer any need to keep a large amount of stock to sell, which may result in mountains of unsold items, which have required a lot of resources to produce and which may be thrown away without being recycled...

In a world where it is becoming essential to preserve the environment and its precious resources, the moderate and circular mode of consumption carried by the POD represents a real hope for our future... And what a pride for us to promote it through our platform.
